Biography - Loretta Mateik Designs

I, like most people, have dabbled in crafting for most of my life. I have tried almost everything to come along, but in the past few years, painting has become my main area of interest and passion.

The many types of surfaces on which to paint is endless. The holidays are my favorite subjects, especially Halloween and Christmas.I attend as many seminars and conventions as I can. It's a great way to learn and you meet the most wonderful people.

In these stressful times in which we live, all of us are at times overwhelmed. I for one, am thankful I love to paint. So, pick out a pattern packet, pick up a brush and paint with all your heart!

I live in a small town north of San Francisco with my husband and 2 black labs, now 5 yrs and 1 year old. Take a moment and email me, as I'd love to hear from you. Let me know what kinds of projects you are interested in and what you may be working on now.

I have also written a book titled, 'Tiny Treasures' published by Provo Craft in 1999. Some very cute projects, leaning a little more to the crafting side..light hearted and fun.
